LOUISE FLUKER Peacefully Friday morning, Mom passed away after a long struggle with ALS. She was predeceased by her husband Bob and son Robert. She leaves to cherish her memory Marilyn (Ron), Sandra (Oliver), Doug (Nancy), and Linda (Neil) and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom's younger years were filled with the success and love of tennis and badminton. She met the love of her life Bob during the war and enjoyed 57 years together until his death in 1999. After moving many times, they made Winnipeg their home where she started working for the Hudson Bay House. She loved working there and retired after 17 years, which gave them the time to do what they loved best, travelling. Mom spent much of her free time volunteering for St. Boniface Gift shop, Humane Society and knitting year round for those in need. The love and welfare of her family was the most important thing in her life. She was very proud of all of them and their accomplishments. The family would like to thank the ALS Society and Homecare Services who made Mom's life so much better during this difficult stage in her life. We can't thank you all enough. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS and Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter (she loved her two cats). As per Mom's wishes, a private family ceremony is being held.
