Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTHONY PAUL FILLION Anthony Paul Fillion, beloved son of Lionel and Lois Fillion, passed away suddenly at Fort St. John, BC on Sunday, November 27, 2005 in his 42nd year. Anthony (Tony) was born in Virden on June 2, 1964. He leaves to mourn his parents, Lionel and Lois; brother Norbert (Verna) Fillion; sisters, Cathy (Norbert) Vuignier, Marie (Cory) Calverley and Marianne (Garfield) Lee; nephews and nieces, Jordan, Jenna and Landon Fillion, Brigitte and Pierre Vuignier and Cameron and Duncan Lee. Anthony grew up on the family farm near Virden where he attended school. He liked to help on the farm but disliked the field work because it was too repetitious. His favourite pastime in his youth was dirt bikes. In recent years, he enjoyed camping and fishing. For the last 13 years, his constant companion was his dog Roach, who also passed away on November 27, 2005. Occupations included brick laying, accomplished heavy duty mechanic and, most recently, a truck driver for logging and oil companies in Alberta and British Columbia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327 - 4th Street, Brandon, on Friday, December 23 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Leo Fernandes as Celebrant. A family burial will take place at a later date. The family gratefully declines flowers. If friends so desire, a donation, in memory of Anthony, may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327 - 4th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 3H1.
