YVONNE JOSEPHINE FERLAND (nee ST. LAURENT) May 2, 1930 - December 22, 2005 It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mom and memere. She was predeceased by her parents Herve and Alexandrine; brother Emile; and sister Therese. She will be adoringly remembered by her daughter Diane Cameron; her son-in-law Phil; and her cherished grandson Darren, who has been the light of her life. Yvonne will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and many friends. Mom was truly devoted to helping the sick while she was employed at the St. Boniface Hospital. Her other passion was spending time with her family. Through the years, she adored the playfulness and joking shared with her grandson who will always have countless special memories. Yvonne was truly a beautiful woman inside and out and she will always be remembered by all who knew her as a friendly, warm-hearted person. Her compassion, selfless love and bright spirit lives on in our hearts and her absence leaves a void too deep for words. A brief funeral service celebrating Yvonne's life will be held on Wednesday, December 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the E. J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St., followed by a reception for family and friends.
