GERARDA (GERRY) SUTHERLAND (nee CALLEWAERT) It is with the deepest regret that we announce the peaceful death, after a brief illness of Gerry at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, January 6, 2006, at the age of 79 years. Gerry is survived by her beloved husband Lucien Tiny Sutherland of 58 years of marriage; children Doreen Delaurier (Joe) and Mervin Sutherland; grandsons, Dion Delaurier and Kelsey Sutherland; sisters, Yvonne Grandbois of Ste. Amelie, Isabelle Vandenbosch of Ste. Rose du Lac, Irene Morin of Ste. Rose du Lac, Agnes Vandenbosch of Ste. Amelie and Anne-Marie (Tony) Leperre of Waterhen; brothers, Eugene Callewaert of Ste. Rose du Lac and Raoul Callewaert of Dryden, ON, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Frederick Callewaert. For over 30 years, Gerry was employed as a Sales Clerk at Robson's Drug Store. Mass of The Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m., in St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant presiding. Inurnment will follow in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. Our family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and all the staff at GA5 - Neurology Department of the Health Sciences Centre. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, MB Division., 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7.
