ARCHIE FERGUSON On January 6, 2006, our dad and brother Archie passed away peacefully at the Grace General Hospital with family at his side. Archie leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Diane and Margaret (Paulo), brother Ken (Elsie) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Joan and parents Archibald and Lily. Archie was born in Winnipeg where he lived his 78 years. He worked for the City of Winnipeg and retired from Winnipeg Hydro after 42 years of service. He had a great love for the outdoors and some of his happiest times were spent at the cottage in Wade, ON. Archie will be remembered as someone you could count on, especially for his devotion to his wife Joan and family. A celebration of Archie's life will be held on Thursday January 12, at 2:00 p.m at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivary Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 626 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at the Grace Hospital involved in Archie's care especially to those on the 2nd Floor. To Dad, How fortunate that you were our Father, Your inspiration and guidance Will always be with us. You taught us right from wrong And how to enjoy every day To its fullest. You worked so hard to Clothe and feed us. Asking so very little in return. You always had that special Answer or story that Always touched our hearts. We will truly miss you Dad Thank you for all The wonderful memories. May God care for you As you did for us.
