DON (DONNIE) LAGIMODIERE Peacefully on January 13, 2006 Donnie passed away in Palliative Care at St. Boniface Hospital after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Donnie was predeceased by his dad Bob in 1991. He is survived by his devoted family, his mom Therese; sisters, Dianne and Sandra; his brothers, Terry and Curtis; and his sister-in-law Louise. He also leaves to mourn many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Donnie was born in Fort Garry on September 11, 1951 where he grew up. He later travelled to BC where he resided in Crescent Beach for several years and returned to Winnipeg in 1991. Donnie, also known to his friends as Poodle and his clients as Timber Tom leaves a legacy as a hard worker, a wonderful son and brother and a good friend. He will be thought of often with much laughter and many good memories. Don was a terrific storyteller and could spin amazing tall tales for all of us to enjoy! Many sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nursing Staff at the Victoria Hospital and especially those in the Palliative Care Unit of St. Boniface Hospital. A very special note of thanks to his brother Curtis for his devotion to Don, for all the times he drove him to appointments and stayed with him during treatments and for all his extra care. In accordance with Donnie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Care or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Rest in Peace Donnie The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 680 Archibald Street 253-5086
