ROSE MARY FIDDLER (nee NEPINAK) Rose Mary Fiddler of Winnipeg passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at her home at the age of 66 years. Rose was born June 23, 1939 in Duck Bay, MB to Patrick and Clara (Chartrand) Nepinak. She was raised in Pine Creek and lived there most of her life, and later Dauphin, and Winnipeg. Rose attended school at Pine Creek Residential School and Lebret, SK. She raised her four sons in Pine Creek and in Dauphin. Rose made many friends throughout her life and will be sadly missed. She was predeceased by her parents, Pat and Clara; brothers, Marcel, Joe, Maurice, Stanley, Alec and Jonas; sisters, Alice, Christine, Mary Madeline and Julia. Also nephews, Sheldon Mekish and Douglas Nepinak. Rose leaves behind four sons, Russell Fiddler of Winnipeg, Allen Fiddler of Pine Creek, Wayne (Lori) of Winnipeg, Murray Fiddler of Winnipeg, MB; sisters, Helen (Tom) Connors of Winnipeg, MB and Shirley Nepinak of Pine Creek. Also grandchildren, Allen Jr. Fiddler, Greg Fiddler, Allie Rose Mekish and Chantel McDougall and one great-grandchild, Kayden; as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Monday, January 30 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, with a prayer service at 8:00 p.m. Prayers and Wake will be held on Tuesday, January 31, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Camperville Community Hall. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Jose Cabral as celebrant. Interment to follow in Camperville Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen Fiddler Jr., Allie Rose Mekish, Kayden McKay, CPL. Rob Nepinak, Shirley Nepinak, Helen Connors, Tom Connors, Vernon Nepinak, Glen Nepinak, Marie T. Nepinak, Christiane McKay, Margaret Nepinak, Daniel McKay, Rita Spence, Florestine Moosetail, and Chantel McDougall.
