JEAN M. FENTON (nee PATON) 1909 - 2006 Peacefully at Evergreen House, Vancouver, Jean, widow of Tom Fenton, passed away. Jean had trained as a nurse at Brandon Mental Hospital and continued to work there for a number of years, before moving to Winnipeg to be the nurse at Mrs. Amants Home on Plessis Road in Transcona. After her marriage to Tom, she lived in North Vancouver. Jean was predeceased by her husband Tom, parents Mary and Alex Paton, sister Belle Udell, (Doug), brother George Paton,, niece Kathy Paton and nephew Ken Southward. She is survived by sisters Eileen Southward, Havelock, ON, Helen (Bob) Jones, Winnipeg, MB, and brother Don (Shirley) Paton, Tilston, MB, also sister-in-law Margaret Paton of Brandon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cherished friends Bette Rumble and Gerry O'Neil of Vancouver. Cremation has taken place and a service of dedication will take place at a later date in Vancouver.
