ANTONIO GIANNELLA November 2, 1925 - March 12, 2006 After a courageous battle with cancer, we sadly announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend on March 12, 2006. Antonio is survived by Rosa (Orfino) his devoted wife of 56 years, his three children Bernadette, Joseph (Mickey) and Nadia (Calvin), along with his precious grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to send out a special thanks to all our friends and family for their loving support during this very difficult time. Special thanks also go out to Dr. Pat Harris and her team at Concordia Oncology, Dr. Paul Daeninck and his team at St. Boniface Hospital and especially Gwen (our angel) and her team from Palliative care, for their relentless efforts in aiding our father over the past four years. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. St. Alphonsus on Munroe Ave. Interment to follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy #1 East at Navin Road. Flowers are graciously declined, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in the memory of our dear father Antonio Giannella.
