CARMINIO DOTOLO Peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2006, Carminio Dotolo passed away with his family at his side. To cherish his memory, Carminio will be greatly missed by his loving wife Mafalda; daughters, Teresa (Tony) and Silvana (Corrado); grandchildren, Sebastian, Giovanni, Alexandria, Carmen, Gabriella; brother Tony (Maria); sisters, Rosina (Domenico), Pierina (Pietro); brothers-in-law, Alberto, Alfredo; and numerous nieces and nephews, along with cousins in Toronto. Overseas he will be remembered by brother-in-law Francesco; sisters-in-law, Catarina, Anna, Silvana and their families; mother-in-law Antonia, along with cousins in Italy. Dad came to Canada in 1955 from Belgium, after leaving his family back home in Ariano Irpino, Italy, for a better life. Once he married mom 49 years ago and started a family, his main goal in life was for his family and relatives to have a good life. We will always remember Nonno as a very devoted, kind, and loving person. His greatest joy was being around a dinner table and enjoying a wonderful meal with his family and friends. Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 26 between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. with Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will follow at Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. The family would like to thank the staff at the Riverview Palliative Care, and the many doctors and nurses who helped Dad during this difficult time.
