JENNIE EVELYN JOSEFCHUK On March 27, 2006 with her family by her side, Jennie Evelyn Josefchuk passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Carl in 2004. Remaining to cherish her memory are sons, Carl (Bev) and Michael (Donna); grandchildren, Ryan (Barbara) and Sharla (Ken); great-grandchildren, Dana, Bradley, Joshua, Hunter and Mason; as well as her sisters, Lillian, Violet and Joyce. Despite contracting polio at the age of one, her indomitable spirit never allowed her to consider her physical disability as a disadvantage. She graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1937 with a Bachelor's degree. In 1941, Mom and Dad were married. Together they moved to Fisher Branch, MB, raised their sons and worked side by side for the Local Government district of Fisher. Upon retirement, they returned to the house they built in Winnipeg. Mother remained active physically and mentally to the very end. We would like to thank the staff at Victoria General Hospital for their professional and compassionate care. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31 at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in Jennie's memory to the Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
