MARCELA CARAOA MAGBANUA Marcela, after a long battle from muscular dystrophy and other illnesses, passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on March 27, 2006 with all her loved ones at her side. Born in Batac, Ilocos Norte, October 31, 1936 (69 years old) of Basilio and Dominga Caraoa. Marcela leaves behind her beloved husband of 49 years, Domingo; daughter Teresita (Jamie) Aragon, and son Wilfredo (Adela) Magbanua; grandchildren, Jamie (Jenelle) Olais, Jimi Olais, Jayne and Jasmine Magbanua; and great-granddaughter Jada Olais; brother Lauriano Caraoa (Philippines); adopted daughter Nancy (Rene Dellava) Magbanua, grandkids Alexie, Carlo and Andrew; adopted son Roland (Cynthia) Caraoa, grandkids Sheldine, Adriel and Hayden; sisters-in-law, Teresa Tkachuk (Philip), Consuelo Espinosa of Vancouver, Nenita (Gabriel) Lagrito of Vancouver, Mila (Cesar) Gabino of Vancouver, Herminia Retita of Philippines; numerous nieces and nephews here in Winnipeg, and also in Calgary, Vancouver and Philippines. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and everyone that knew her. Marcela had the happiest time of her life when she finally got to see her brother again last year after not seeing each other for over 30 years. The family would like to thank the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital 5U7 and the emergency department for the care she received. And also to all the homecare workers that she loved dearly that looked after her all these years. Lamay will be held at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., Winnipeg, on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31 from 6:00 to 12:00 midnight. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, April 1 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 355 Andrew St. corner of Mountain Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Dado Parrenas officiating. Cremation to follow. Revelations 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Amen. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. Yes, I will help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Amen.
