She was a highly motivated and active person who enjoyed sewing and providing her family and friends with patch quilts and crocheted afghans. She also enjoyed being a homemaker and having family and friends over for many special occasions. On numerous visits, family members left her house with a generous sampling of homemade baking and canning. Mom enjoyed her many years working as a member of the Thursday volunteer staff at Morrow Gospel Church. She also spent many years of enjoyment puttering in her yard watering her plants by hand from the rain barrel and weeding her garden. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Morrow Gospel Church, St. Anne's Road with interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
