Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM STEFANYSHYN 1921 - 2006 William Stefanyshyn born June 28, 1921 in Korsow, West Ukraine passed away on March 25, 2006 at the age of 84. Son of Nicholas Stefanyshyn and Mary Rudnicka, they came to Canada on May 9, 1928. This is where he met Louise Dmytruk whom he married on July 28, 1945. Survived by his wife Louise; their four children, Kenneth (Brenda), Elizabeth (Roy), Timothy and William. He will also be missed by his four grandchildren. William worked for CN Railways. A private family service had taken place on Friday, March 31 at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Thank you to the staff on ward GB3 at the Health Sciences Centre who cared so well for William in his final days.
