GEORGES GOBIN Peacefully at the Grace General Hospital on Thursday, March 30, 2006, Mr. Georges Gobin of St. Claude, MB passed away at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn his passing five children, Reg Gobin of Carman, Pierrette (Norman) Buisson of Winnipeg, Cécile Gobin of Winnipeg, André (Dolores) Gobin of St. Claude, Jacqueline (Anthony) Schick of Winnipeg; seven grandchildren, Trent, Shannon (Jeremy), Lindsay (Justin), Melissa, Brodie, Brendon and Aaron; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Julia. He also leaves to mourn three sisters, Irène, Marie and Claudine; and three brothers, Maurice, René and Raymond. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothée (nee Lacroix) in 2004 and by one son Guy in 1980. Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Monday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Célestin Malengu Mubaya officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Claude Pavilion Grounds Committee, Box 400, St. Claude, MB ROG 1Z0, or to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
