WILFRED JAMES LARNER 1915 - 2006 On April 2, 2006 Wilfred James Larner passed away at Betel Home, Selkirk, MB, beloved husband of the late Margaret Helen Larner (nee Palsson) who predeceased him May 14, 1993. Wilf was born in Winnipeg April 15, 1915 an only child of Herbert Charles and Ellen Mary Larner. He was predeceased by his father in 1954 and his mother in 1975. He is survived by cousins in Toronto, England and by some very fine friends. Wilf was employed at the Manitoba Bridge in Winnipeg and the Manitoba Rolling mills in Selkirk for 37 years, retiring in 1977 He spent three and one half years in the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Navy from 1942 to 1945, he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion no. 42, Selkirk Branch. In respect to Wilf's wishes, Cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be held on Friday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Knox Presbyterian Church, 341 Eveline St., Selkirk with Rev.
