ERICH RECKER It is with great sadness that the family and friends of Erich Recker announce his passing on April 2, 2006 at the age of 44 years, after fighting a long and brave battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his four brothers, Hans (Angel), Eduard (Diane), Martin and Helmut (Stacey); two nephews, Eduard and Erin; one niece Julianna; good friends Al and Debbie Marx and they boys; and the Lavallee family as well as may other friends and hunting and fishing buddies. He was predeceased by his father Erich and mother Julianna. Erich had a big heart and a wonderful way with people of all ages. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to spend his time with his friends out in the country. Everyone will remember him as the guy who was as big as a house with the brown truck. He will be sadly missed by all. See you later Bro . Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m., with viewing one hour prior, in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Room ON1160, 675 McDermot, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
