Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLE ANN O'KEEFE (nee LYNCH) June 28, 1949 - March 31, 2006 After a courageous battle with cancer, Carole passed away in peace and solitude at Riverview Health Centre, with her family at her side. Left to cherish her memory are Carole's husband Wayne; children, Steven and Jeff; daughter-in-law Leanne; and her three precious grandchildren, Bradley, Kailyn and Alicia. She will be greatly missed by her parents, William and Dorothy Lynch, Granny Coyles; brothers, Bill (Geri), Barry and Brian; as well as her extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. From her early years, Carole knew her career would be education. During her 35 years of teaching at Birtle, Selkirk and within the Saint Boniface School Division, she strived towards setting the foundation to enable her students to achieve all their future potential. Between her career and her family, Carole still made time for community involvement; spending many years on the executive at Norberry Community Club, and several years with the Manitoba Teachers Association. Special thanks to Dr. Maxwell, Nurse Ann, staff and volunteers at the Victoria Hospital Oncology Ward, and all the caregivers at the Riverview 3 East Wing. Also a very special thanks to Carole's close friends and relatives who were invaluable during this trying period. A celebration of Carole's life will be held on Monday, April 10 at 4:00 p.m in Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria General Hospital We Development Fund.
