ELVIN N. KOZAR Suddenly on April 26, 2006, Elvin was called to God. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Joyce; children Donna (Franz) and Richard (Chris); dear mother Dorothy; brother Vernon (Judith); nieces and many friends. He was predeceased by his father, Nick and stepfather, Bill. Elvin was born in Grandview, MB and later moved to Winnipeg. He was a loving husband, caring father and wonderful friend who was always eager to help others in time of need. Elvin had a good sense of humour and loved to laugh, told stories of his younger years and talked with everyone he would meet. He also enjoyed fishing, curling, bowling and going to the beach. He worked at a variety of companies as a truck driver and enjoyed the open road. In his later years he worked at Motor Coach. In his retirement, he enjoyed going to the Reh-fit Centre and meeting his good friends at the mall. The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses and doctors at the St. Boniface ER and Palliative Care unit and especially to Father Roland Lanoie for his spiritual comfort. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elvin's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or a charity of one's choice. You will remain in our hearts forever. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
