DARCIA GAYE CARNIE 1958 - 2006 Butterfly As you danced in the light with joy, love lifted you. As you brushed against the world so gently, you lifted us. T.C. Ring Darcia, cherished daughter of Helen and the late Ned Carnie, and beloved sister of Candace, died peacefully on April 25, 2006 at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre in Calgary. She will be missed by her uncle, aunts, cousins, many dear friends and her adored cats, Spidey and Shydey. Darcia was a vibrant, independent spirit who lived a well-travelled and varied life. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis twenty years ago, she continued to embrace each day with optimism and courage. Her family extends sincere thanks to the dedicated staff at the Fanning Centre for their professional care and loving concern. Cremation has taken place. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date.
