PASQUALE MAZZA It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our Father and Grandfather, Pasquale Mazza. Pasquale passed away on April, 29 2006 with family by his side. Pasquale was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Maria Mazza and his brothers, Antonio, Guiseppe, Francisco and Michele Mazza. Pasquale is survived by his wife Giovanna; his two children, Maria (Enzo), Antonio (Ro-jean); three grandchildren, Antonella (Christopher), Giovanna, and Monica (Joel), and one sister Guiseppina. Pasquale also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Pasquale was born on October 5, 1921 in Platania (CZ) Italia. In 1952 while living in Italy Pasquale married the love of his life Giovanna. They both moved to France where they had two children, Maria and Antonio. In 1957 they immigrated to Canada to start a new life. When in Canada, Pasquale worked in the Construction Industry as a Brick Layer and Cement Finisher. After many years in construction Pasquale started his own company, Mazza Concrete. Pasquale loved life and had a great passion for fruit trees, especially cherries and figs. Pasquale enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and watching his favorite soccer team, Italy, on T.V. Pasquale was an extremely loving and compassionate Dad and Nonno. Making new friends always came easy to him, as he loved to laugh, talk and share stories. He had a beautiful soul and lived every single day for his wife, children and grandchildren. When his family was happy, he was happy and that was the story of our lives with our precious Dad and Nonno. Papa and Nonno, The pain in our hearts is so much greater than most could understand. We shared an unexplainable depth of love that is so difficult for us to put in words. There were no limits when it came to your family and it showed through your unconditional love, every hour of every moment that we shared together as a family. Continue to walk with us, hold our hand and guide us like you have guided us our entire lives. Ti vogliamo un mondo di bene, grazie per tutto che hai fatto per noi. With all of the love in our hearts today, and until we see each other again, you will be forever missed. Sleep with the angels. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 3 at 8:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Rosary Church with Fr.
