GRACE VERNA DURBAN Passed away peacefully with her nephew by her side on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the age of 72 years. She was predeceased by her mother Patricia, father Michael and sister Cecilia. Grace is survived by her brother-in-law Lindsay (Judy) Crysler; nephew Vincent (Kathleen) Crysler and their children Mia and Mathieu; niece Patrice (Lauren) Martin and their child Julien as well as cousins Zen Borecky and family, Elsie Borecky and family and her extended family at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church. She will also be remembered by friends and co-workers that she has touched throughout her life. Grace began her accounting career in Winnipeg and moved to Regina in 1962. She worked for the City of Regina for 31 years, retiring in July of 1993. In the spring of 2005, Grace was inducted into the Manitoba Softball Hall of Fame after a long career of playing competitive softball. Rosary will be recited at 6:40 p.m., followed by Prayers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 55 McMurchy Ave., Regina, SK. Divine Liturgy will be held at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church on Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Leonard Romanow officiating, cremation to follow. Interment will take place at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grace's memory to the Regina Humane Society, PO Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7, the Regina General Hospital - ICU, 1440 14th Ave., Regina, SK S4P 0W5 or to St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 55 McMurchy Avenue, Regina, SK S4R 3G3. Arrangements are entrusted.
