KENNETH KELLY KYDD It is with sadness, the family announces the passing of Ken Kydd on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Grace Hospital. Ken was born on July 15, 1920 in Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Land, South Africa and came to Canada in January 1998. He married Doreen Bond, whom he met in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ken will be missed by his wife Doreen Bond; mother-in-law Rachel Bond; his children, Mervyn (Anita), Marie Chappell of South Africa, Jefferey Newton of Australia; grandchildren, James, Adriene, Meloney of South Africa, Nigel (Kristen), Spencer, Leionel (Joanne) of Australia; and his two great-grandchildren of Australia; brothers-in-law, Wayne Bond, Keith (Ceny) Bond and Majors Eric (Donna) Bond. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 5 at 3:00 p.m. also at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Heritage Park Temple, 825 School Rd. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca.
