PATRICIA LYNN SVEINSON November 11, 1963 May 5, 2006 On Friday, May 5, 2006 Patricia died at the Grace Hospital at the age of 42 years. After a ten year courageous battle with cancer, Pat now rests in peace. Remaining to mourn and cherish Pat's memory are daughters, Quinn and Caley (Benner); grandson Conor; mother June Groves (Roy Jenkins), father Roy (Mikki); sister Denise (Mike); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pat was predeceased by her sister Faith. Pat was born in Winnipeg, MB. She loved to read, write poetry, and was very creative in a variety of crafts. On Thursday, May 11 an Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. following there will be a celebration of Pat's life that will be held at the ANAF Unit #1, 1395 Empress Street (North of Ellice) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Krahn, Dr. Daniuk, Dr. Susser, Dr. Fraser; and Irene Shapira; as well as to all the Doctors and Nurses at St. Boniface and Grace Hospitals. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society of Manitoba, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7.
