AMELIA (AMY) GOODWIN (nee DUCHARME) After a lengthy battle with Rummatoid Arthritis, Amelia passed away on May 11, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 59. She was predeceased by her father Harvey, she leaves behind her mother Bernadette; brothers, Gerard (Elizabeth), Normand (Vicki); sisters, Norma (Brian) and Diane; three nieces, eight nephews, nine great nieces and four great nephews. Amelia was a very active person who loved the outdoors; she enjoyed travelling, fishing and horseracing. Amelia enjoyed going to bingo or as she called it the office . She loved being around her family and will be especially missed by all who knew and loved her. A special thanks to the nurses and staff of St. Boniface Hospital, along with all the Home Care workers for their outstanding care they provided. A viewing will be held from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 14 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Emile's Church, 556 St. Anne's Rd., with reception to follow. Interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., following the reception. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca Remembrances may be made to charity of your choice in Amelia's memory.
