GERARD MARCOUX Peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre, Gérard passed away at the age of 57 years. He was predeceased by his parents Edna and Jean Marcoux. He leaves to mourn his daughter Sara and her mother Darlene Marcoux, and Gerry's special friend Linda Romanoff. He also leaves to mourn his brothers: Henri (Mary), Roland (Pauline), Jean-Paul, and nephews Alin, Joel, Jean-Pierre, Patrick and nieces Natalie, Lisette, Elizabeth and great-niece Bijou, along with other nieces and nephews. Gerry was born in St. Boniface and attended Précieux-Sang School. He worked as a letter carrier for Canada Post for over 27 years. He found much happiness in spending time with his family and friends; his great sense of humour will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to Independent Living Resource Centre. A celebration of Gerry's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street with a gathering of family and friends to follow.
