Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS CHRISTIE MCCULLOCH 1945 2006 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Dennis on Friday, May 12, 2006 at home surrounded by his family after a valiant 18 month battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 35 years Barb; daughter Christie Nenson (Brian); son Michael; grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob and Lena Nenson; mother Muriel McCulloch; sister Joan and brother Alex McCulloch (Valerie); sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gerry and Ken Stephanson. He also leaves to mourn several cherished nieces and nephews, as well as many special friends from home and around the world. Dennis was predeceased by his father, Gordon McCulloch in 1990. Dennis was born in Souris, MB and was very proud of his hometown roots. He had many fond childhood memories and had many great stories of his experiences. Denny spent the majority of his career in the sales and marketing area of Agriculture crop protection. He had an enthusiasm for sales and made many lifelong friends within the industry. Denny always loved the lake and many fun times were had at Whytewold, Black Duck and Minaki. His outgoing personality always put people at ease and he enjoyed being the life of the party. In 1996 Denny lost 97% of his vision and it became necessary to retire from the job he loved. He accepted the challenge with amazing grace. His positive attitude and lifelong passion for golf were a perfect fit within the community of blind golfers. Denny and Barb travelled the world competing and winning many golf tournaments, highlighted by Dennis winning the 2002 World Blind Golf Championship in Winnipeg. He won the hearts of blind golfers everywhere. Denny packed a lot of life into his 60 years. He leaves a big hole in all our hearts. A memorial service will be held at St Mary's Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd. at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to: Western Canadian Blind Golf Association in care of Ron Camarta P.O. Box 28 Riviere Qui Barre, AB T0G 1Y0 or CNIB Manitoba, or the St. Mary's Anglican Church Capital Fund, or a charity of your choice.
