LILLIAN T. PETERS Surrounded by her family, Lillian Peters (nee KALETA) passed on peacefully in her sleep at the Seven Oaks Hospital on Friday, May 12, 2006. Lillian will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter Gloria Wolff (Donal); granddaughter Lisa Pittet (Heath, Paige, Kristian, Kaleb, Ella and Jacob), granddaughter Jolene Van Den Bruel (Kevin, Jordan and Alexa), grandson Bradley Wolff (Trina), grandsons, Quinn and Brenn Peters; sisters, Pearl and Jean (Stan); sister-in-law Teresa; brother Peter (Barbara), along with a large extended family of relatives and friends. Her husband Wesley, son Gilbert, daughter Sandy, brothers, Steve and Roman, sisters, Mary and Mildred predecease Lillian. Born in Anola, MB, Lillian moved to Toronto as a very young adult. It is here that she met, fell in love and married Wesley and where both Gilbert and Gloria were born. Several years later, she returned with her young family to Manitoba, which is where her youngest daughter Sandy was born. The family moved several times and made their final home in Winnipeg. Lillian will be remembered for her strength, steadfastness and determination which she consistently displayed in all that she did. She was the true matriarch of the Peters/Kaleta family. Her knitting and crocheting were works of art, proudly displayed and worn. She thrived on current events, easily outwitting anyone in a debate. Lillian was an amazing, respected woman and will be dearly missed. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, on Tuesday, May 16 at 3:00 p.m. with internment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lillian's memory to a charity of one's choice. Always Loved and Remembered ... You Are Forever in our Hearts Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main St. 338-7111
