LILY SCHACTER It is with great sadness that the family of Lily B. Schacter announces her passing on May 9, 2006 in Victoria, B.C. a few days shy of her 99th birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Bernard Schacter. She will be greatly missed by her children, Alan (Rebby), Merilyn (Barry Myers), Noel (Elizabeth) and her grandchildren, Wendy (Mark), Danny (Anita), Rob (Randi), Alissa (Michael), Brenlee (Josh), Michael and her great-grandchildren, Caleigh, Michael, Shawn, Seth, Rachel, Aaron, Lise, Jonah and Avery. Mom will be fondly remembered by her sister Clare Shaffer and Clare's family in Victoria and numerous friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers and brothers-in-law. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Lou and Sally Libby of Vancouver, B.C. Mom was a woman who loved and enveloped life until the end. She lived her life on her own terms. She will be greatly and sadly missed. Funeral services were held at the Independent Bnay Abraham Cemetery on May 15, 2006.
