KENNETH E. GUDMUNDSON September 19, 1949 - May 18, 2006 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenneth E. Gudmundson on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Riverview Health Care Centre. Ken was predeceased by his father-in-law, Albert Nault. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shirley; his parents, Ivan and Bernice Gudmundson; his children, Dean (Melanie), Karen (Dane), and Paul (Joanne); his mother-in-law Diny Nault; and sister-in-law, Sharon (Doug). Ken was born in Winnipeg and raised in the Elmwood area. After graduating from the Graphic Arts program at Red River Community College, he embarked on a lengthy career in the printing trade with Canadian Publishers (Transcontinental Printing) until his retirement in 2005. Ken was an avid car lover and household handyman, his devotion to family and friends was paramount and he always volunteered to help those in need. Ken will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his impeccable manners, and strong work ethic. In celebration of his life a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to CancerCare Manitoba or Riverview Health Care Centre.
