MICHAEL MACKO Peacefully, on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at Holy Family Nursing Home, Michael Macko, aged 82 years, of Winnipeg. Michael was born in Western Ukraine, and immigrated to Canada on January 16, 1950. He resided in Poplarfield, MB, later moving to Winnipeg in 1952. Michael was employed with CP Rail in the Weston Shops, retiring in March 1982. He was a longtime member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral. Left to cherish Michael's memory are relatives and friends in Ukraine and Canada. Panachyda (prayers) will be sung at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 25, also at the Cathedral with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat M. Buyachok, Fr. M. Kouts and Protodeacon M. Woroby officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. CHYSTOS VOSKRES KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
