PAT MCDILL (nee Jackson) April 24, 1922 - May 19, 2006 It is with great sorrow that the family announces that on May 19, 2006, Pat passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by both of her parents and, in 1995, by her husband Gordon. Pat is survived by her children Bob (Sandy) and Shirley; grandchildren Dr. Kwesi Kwofie, Ben Rodecker, Allison McDill and Doug McDill; cousin Wilma (Al) and family; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was born and grew up in Winnipeg and raised her family here. Her greatest passion was music and dance. She was the neighbourhood tap dance instructor in Riverview in the 50s. She enjoyed Big Band music up until the time of her passing. Pat worked for Eaton's and The Bay for many years, finally retiring in the 1980s. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Golden Door Personal Care Home for all their care and support over the years and their kindness and compassion, especially at the time of Mom's passing. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and close friends will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel on May 24, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's memory to the Alzheimer's Society.
