FRANCES CAROLINE MACK (nee SIDE) Frankie passed away peacefully at Golden Links Personal Care Home on May 20, 2006 at the age of 84. She is survived by Harold (Hal) Mack, her husband of 56 years; daughters, Phyllis Saunders (Dave) of Calgary and their children Kristin and Paul; Maureen Shotton (Russ Weir) of Regina and her children Mike, Lisa, Brad and Ryan; and great-grandson Kyle. She is also survived by her sister Wynne (Norm) Grey-Noble of Surrey. Frankie was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She worked for Canadian Pacific Airline, Transcanada Airline and in other business fields before she was married. She stayed home with the children for some years and then resumed her career working for a couple of engineering firms until her retirement in 1983. In her younger years she was an avid tennis player and loved to spend time at Lac du Bonnet. She was an accomplished seamstress and her hobbies included gardening, knitting and playing the piano. Frankie was afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease for many years. Her husband and family would like to thank the staff of Golden Links for their tender loving care. It was sincerely appreciated.
