MIKE C. STASIUK Peacefully on May 22, 2006, Mike passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 49. Mike is survived by brother Dennis (Lorraine); sisters, Janice (Bob) Banish, Jeroline (Ray) Smith, Kim (Bob) Parker, Crystal and Rennay (Roy); numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Mike and Thelma and brother Richard. Mike was born on August 21, 1956 in Hodgson, MB. He spent most of his childhood years in Red Lake, ON. Mike moved to Winnipeg in 1970 and graduated from St. John's High School. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Lodge 555 and was an active member until 2003. He was a devout member of Calvary Temple, which helped him through his difficult times. Like his father and brother Dennis, Mike was a very skilled carpenter and he built various pieces of furniture for family and friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Ruth for all her care and compassion. Also thanks to the staff on GA4 at Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St. with Pastor Bruce Martin as officiant. Ash interment at a later date.
