REV. NIEN TZE CHU It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rev. Nien Tze Chu on May 23, 2006 at the Victoria Hospital with his family by his side at the age of 96 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his six children and spouses, 15 grandchildren and spouses, 10 great-grandchildren and two sisters. He was predeceased by wife Lo Lan and many of his family members. Rev. Chu was born in 1910 and fought during the Second World Woar as a fighter pilot. He left the Army as a General, and at the age of 39 as the Second World War was ending, became a government servant until the age of 60, then became a Pastor and served the Lord. Rev. Chu worked hard everyday until the morning he became ill and his last words were Glory to the Lord . While in the hospital, he experienced a phenomenal change in 24 days allowing for his spiritual preparation to meet the Lord. A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday, May 28 at 3:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. with Pastor Jacob Li officiating.
