SHIRLEY ANN GALE (nee WARYWODA) It is with profound sadness that the family of Shirley Ann Gale (nee Warywoda) announce her untimely passing on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the age of 65 years, with Belinda, Gerry, and Gregg by her side. Mom was a very giving person to everyone she met right up to her passing. She loved her family and friends, often putting them before her own needs; not to forget her beloved cats Cornie and Bucky . Born on November 28, 1940, Shirley grew up in Hazelridge, MB. Since then, she met her husband Gerry and has lived across Canada. In 1975, they settled in Winnipeg with young daughter Belinda. Shirley loved life and has left us all with wonderful memories of good times. We would like to thank the staff of Concordia Hospital ER for their diligent efforts in caring for Shirley in the first few hours. To the WFPS, thanks for your quick response and your care and concern for us and Shirley. Thanks to Dr. A. Mallick and Dr. Bo of Grace Hospital ICU for the genuine sympathetic care shown our mom and her wishes. Special thanks also to the nurses of the Grace Hospital ICU who have made this time for us a little easier. To Gladys, You made our long nights bearable. Thank You. You are a credit to your profession . Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 East at Navin Rd. Urn placement will follow in Holy Angel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, should friends so wish donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, R2L 1X3.
