In 1935 she married Wilhelm Reinholdt. In 1936 they had their only child, a son Ewald. She immigrated with her husband and son to Canada in 1954 and resided in Winnipeg. Meta and her husband Willi had a passion for acrobatics as a sport and performed on many occasions throughout Germany.
