Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDMUND ROMAN MASLOWSKI 1950 - 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend on May 29, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital surrounded by family and dearest friends. Ed was born in Bartoszyce, Poland. He moved to Canada with his family in 1960. A resident of Winnipeg since that date, he attended school in Winnipeg and worked as a civil engineering technologist for ND LEA for 32 years. Ed was a loving and caring father who adored his daughters, Laura and Krystal, raising them on his own since the passing of their mother. Ed was a generous and compassionate man who reveled in spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed skiing, fishing and cooking. Ed loved to entertain and became an accomplished chef who arguably served the best BBQ ribs in Manitoba. Ed is predeceased by wife Ingrid (Kaserbauer), and parents, Walter and Janina. He is survived by daughters, Laura Janine and Krystal Lisbeth; sister Helen Maslowski; and brother Andrew (Jane) Maslowski; nephew Robert (Brandy) Maslowski; and grandnephew Gavin; along with cousins in Canada and Poland. He will be fondly remembered by Waltraut (Oma) Kaserbauer; his dearest friends Stan and Wanda Wolf; and many, many others who have been enriched by knowing him. We extend our sincerest gratitude to the staff of MICU for the compassionate care provided to Ed and the support provided to the family in our time of sorrow. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is being held on Friday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment and reception to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 Main St. 338-7111
