J. BETTY VORLICK J. Betty Vorlick born in Wimbledon, UK April 26, 1915. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2006 at Calvary Place. Predeceased by her loving husband Don. Lovingly remembered by her daughters Joanne Logan (Bruce) and Jill Michalski (Ron); five grandchildren, David, Maureen, Candice, Todd and Elise and ten great-grandchildren. While serving in the Land Army during the Second World War she met and married Don Vorlick, Sergeant with the Canadian Field Regiment RCHA. After the war they settled in Winnipeg where they shared their life together. In life she taught us all lessons in love, loyalty and contentment. The family would like to thank the caring and attentive staff at Calvary Place. A memorial service will take place in the Buntain Chapel of Calvary Temple, Hargrave at Cumberland on Friday, June 2 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Place Personal Care Home, 1325 Erin St., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 3R6.
