Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEUGENIE (JENNY) RENN (nee SALESKI) Suddenly, on the morning of May 30, 2006, our dear wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Jenny is survived by her husband Rudy Oswald; brother Gerhard Saleski (Rosalene) and sister Gertrude Schulz (Eddie); son Harold Renn (Valerie); son Barry Renn (Lynn); grandchildren, Annette (Gérard), Steven, Richard (Maria), Kelly (Tyler); stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Jamie, Dallas and stepgreatgrandson, Drake; stepchildren, Veronika Hillier (Eldon), Joachim Oswald (Andrea), Sylvia Lusk (Ian) and Christine Vukelic (John); stepgrandchildren, Curtis (Mandy), Kyle, Kristen, Nicholas, Michael and Madison. Jenny is predeceased by her parents, Reinhold and Otillie Saleski; her first husband Alfons Renn and her daughter-in-law Bianca Renn. Jenny was born in Poland on the 21st day of December, 1929. She arrived from Germany in August of 1949 and began her new life in Rosenfeld, MB. Later that year she moved to Winnipeg. Jenny married Al Renn on May 16, 1950 and they farmed until 1956. During this time they had two sons, Harold and Barry, who joined in the automotive business where Jenny was the accountant. Jenny was extremely friendly and welcomed all with open arms and lots of food, never leaving anyone feeling hungry or unwelcome. She loved to spend her time fishing and playing card games with friends and family members. She also enjoyed taking vacations in Texas, Hawaii and Mexico. Once retired, she moved to Petersfield, MB all the while remaining an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross (56 years). Jenny lost her husband Al on April 30, 1987. Nevertheless, she found a second love of her life, Rudy Oswald, whom she married July 10, 1999. She was fortunate to have two wonderful husbands. We would like to thank the hospital and staff for their compassionate care. Goodbye's may be said Sunday, June 4 at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington St., Winnipeg between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 5 at 11:00 a.m. We miss and love you dearly. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
