MONIKA KONIG (nee PHILIPP) April 7, 1941 May 26, 2006 It is with love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Monika König on May 26, 2006. She leaves to mourn her daughters, Yvonne König-Singer (Hartley) and Karen Lavallee (Warren); grandchildren, Bailey and Callie Lavallee; brother Klaus Philipp; and sister Ingrid Lux (Siegfried); Herbert König, nephews Peter Franzen and Olaf Klindtworth (Wendy) and niece Astrid Wermann (Witholt); also special friend Roy Neufeld. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Otto and Eva Philipp; sister Crystal Klindtworth; sister-in-law Ingrid Philipp; brothers-in-law Hans Klindtworth and Peter Franzen; and infant brothers. We wish to thank Dr. Ben Wiesenthal for being there for her at all times, the doctors and staff at Cancer Care Manitoba, and the oncology and emergency departments at Concordia Hospital for their compassionate and dedicated care. Also, we want to thank all you people who accompanied her suffering with your hopes and best wishes, you know who you are. A special thanks to Roy, Klaus, and Ingrid for their unconditional love and support of our mother in her time of need. Flowers are gratefully declined.
