LEWIS ANDRE CORDOVA Suddenly on June 3, 2006, surrounded by his loving parents, Andrew and Leslie, ninongs and ninangs; Lewis returned to God's waiting arms. He leaves with saddened hearts family and relatives in the Philippines, the United States and Canada. We were blessed with the opportunity to love and care for him for three years. He was truly a superhero in all of our eyes, courageously he fought the odds with a smile in his cute face. Lewis gave us a lifetime of beautiful memories we will always cherish in our hearts. We are comforted by the thought that he is now at peace, free from pain and suffering. Running around in heaven's playground. Viewing and prayers will be on Tuesday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 7 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Vital Roman Catholic Church Pembina at Manahan with Rev. Dr. Patrick Morand the Celebrant. Interment will follow in Thomson In the Park Cemetery. Lewis' parents would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of his doctors, the staff of Children's Hospital ER, CK5, Children's Clinics especially the Renal Group. Thank you very much. Maraming salamat sa barkada. Hindi namin ito makakaya kung wala kayo! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lewis' honour to the Children's Hospital Foundation. God saw him getting tired, And a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around him And whispered, Come with me. With tearful eyes we watched him go And saw him slip away. Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Tiny hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
