Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLAIRE LOIS CARVER It is with sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of Claire on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Calvary Place. Claire was born on August 26, 1914 in Saskatchewan to Marie Wiess and William Briske. She was predeceased by her parents; husband John William Mark Carver; daughter Lynne Kenny; sisters, Regina Shindelka, Matty Andersen, Josephine Raycroft; brothers Bill Briske, and Herman Briske. She is survived by her two sons Ken and Craig Carver; her granddaughter Debra; grandson Marshall; and great-grandson Julian. Claire loved spending time with family, cooking special meals and always took joy in pleasing others. She was a very loyal member of Calvary Temple and attended as long as she could. Claire spent time in bible study, hymn singing and services there. She felt so blessed and grateful to be living at Calvary Place, it was home for her. Claire always had a smile on her face and a song in her heart. She touched many peoples hearts with her kind, caring and graceful ways. She was such a lady in every sense of the word. Claire looked forward to finally being with her Lord and Saviour where there is eternal peace. She will always be remembered as a caring, loving wife, mother and grandmother to those she was closest to. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with interment and reception following. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca The family wish to extend their thanks to all the staff at Calvary Place, especially Rachael and Jill, and Claire's faithful friend, Mary Wasio for being a loyal friend for many years.
