DENISE LEMIRE Peacefully, on June 5, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital, after a short illness, Denise Lemire, aged 69 years, widow of the late Roger Lemire, passed away. Besides her husband Roger, Denise was also predeceased by her parents Reine and Jean-Louis Legourrierec and by her sister Jeannine. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Jean Legourrierec of La Salle, MB and by numerous nieces and nephews. Denise spent her life as a dedicated teacher. She taught from 1955 until her retirement in 1992. From 1977 until 1992, she taught in Ecole Taché and was very dedicated to the work of the School Patrols. You could always see Denise out with her patrols. They won many awards due to her dedication. Special thanks to my wonderful brother, Jean, for always being there for me. Thanks also to my neice Denise and her husband Jim and to my nephew Roland and his wife Juliette; also to Dr. Danais-Brown for the excellent care, and to my special friend Olive. A very special thankyou to all my other wonderful friends for all your support and visits. The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff on 6 South, St Boniface Hospital. The care was excellent. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 9, at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
