SYLVIA MICHALCHUK (nee BERESFORD) October 13, 1936 - June 4, 2006 On Sunday, June 4, 2006, after a courageous battle with diabetes and heart disease, Sylvia left us to live in the House of our Lord. Remaining to cherish Sylvia's memory are her brother Granville; sister Elvia; nieces, nephews; her great-nieces and great-nephews; special friends, Ron, Caroline and Pearl; along with all her many friends from the Blue Bird Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph; parents; and brother. Sylvia was a longtime resident of Carriage Road House and had left many friends there on her move to the Blue Bird Lodge. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of friends to celebrate Sylvia's life will be held at the Blue Bird Lodge to be announced. Our family offers many thanks to all those who gave compassionate, gentle care to Sylvia in her last days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
