GERHARD PENNER It is with great sadness that the family of Gerhard Penner announces his passing at The Maples Personal Care Home on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at the age of 81 years. Gerhard leaves to mourn his passing his daughters, Dianna (Les) of Mission, BC, Linda (Gerry) of Lethbridge, AB, Jackie (Alcide) of Medicine Hat, AB, and Lottie of Winnipeg; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; as well as his sisters and spouses, brothers and spouses, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, one daughter, parents, two granddaughters and two grandsons. Dad was known and will always be remembered for his great attitude and for being the neighborhood watch as he walked to bingo to be with his friends at numerous different locations. We all forever love you and miss you Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa. The family would like to thank all those who helped with his care from Seven Oaks Hospital and Maples Personal Care Home. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, June 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
