REGINA (REGGIE) MELANIE PATRY (nee FISSETTE) It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Regina Patry on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at the Pembina Place Personal Care Home, just 17 days shy of her 100th birthday. Regina was predeceased by her husband Frank Patry (1976). Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Claudette; grandsons, Kevin and Keith; and her great-granddaughter Ashley. Regina was born on June 23, 1906 and lived her entire life in the St. Boniface and Norwood area. She was actively involved in the community following her retirement from the Grain Exchange in the mid 1950. Regina was actively involved in the Catholic Women's League, a lifelong member of the Manitoba Coin Club, as well as member of Streamliners. She was a member of the Belgian Club, and helped organize senior's bingo at the Holy Cross Church. Regina loved spending time with family especially her special Saturdays' with her great-granddaughter Ashley. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 12, at 2:00 p.m. in the Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc St. with a viewing a half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery, 917 Archibald St., and the family welcomes all for a reception following the interment at the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Regina's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
