DONALD NORD Donald Nord, aged 76, formerly of St. James passed away on Monday, June 5, 2006 Donald was born in Dubuc, SK and lived on the farm until he moved to Winnipeg. He owned his own auto body shop, where he became a skilled painter. Donald worked as a painter for Bristol Aerospace and lastly Air Canada. He was a member of the St. James Legion, as well as a member of the Masonic Lodge. Donald's love of the lake, began in his younger years at Round Lake, SK, where the family met for annual vacations. Later he could be found at his working on his dream cottage at Lac du Bonnet. Donald will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by numerous cousins from the Taylor family the E. Nord family, T. Nord family and the Bailey family. He will be especially missed by his cousin Judy Bailey-Smyth and her children, Chantell and Cale. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 12, at 3:00 p.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with visitation one half hour prior to service time. A reception will follow.
