MINNIE IBALL (nee GEIB) September 22, 1912 - June 7, 2006 My Mom and Best Friend Peacefully in her sleep Mom went to be with her Lord. Mom was born in Morden, MB. She was baptized as an infant and was confirmed in 1926. She was a wonderful mother, Nana and friend to many. She was predeceased by Dad on January 7, 1965. She will be greatly missed with many loving memories, by her only daughter Gail Schledwitz; son-in-law Rob; her grandsons, Dale, Ron and wife Janet, Darryl and wife Vicki, Randy and wife Lisa; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Irene McColl. Mom was also predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. Mom worked for MTS for many years retiring in September 1977. She enjoyed her life to the fullest and was an inspiration to us all. She enjoyed her many trips with her sister. She was a wonderful seamstress, could make a supper for many unexpected guests in minutes and made the best Coffee Cake . She enjoyed bowling for many years and loved to play Bingo. No job was too big for Mom to tackle. Mom had a great sense of humour and left us all with wonderful memories which we will treasure always. Pallbearers are her four grandsons - Dale, Ron, Darryl and Randy. How proud she was of them. Funeral service for Mom will be on Monday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St. with Pastor Richard Kruesel officiating. Interment in Transcona Cemetery. If friends so desire donations may be made to a charity of their choice. Thank you God for the precious gift of our Mom and Nana.
