ALBERT FIDELIO LEZAMA April 1936 - June 2006 It is with sadness that we mourn the loss of beloved husband and father Albert Lezama. Albert left us unexpectedly on June 10, 2006. He will be greatly missed. Albert is survived by his wife of 46 years, May, daughter Lana and son-in-law Martin, five brothers, two sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Marcelleno (Poyin), mother Lena Rose and brother Joseph. Originally immigrating from Trinidad and Tobago to the United States, then finally settling here in Winnipeg in the 1970s he had managed a diverse career ranging from Auto Mechanics, Welder in a shipyard, to Upholsterer. In his later years he also spent time volunteering for the CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind). He loved sports, travelling to his home land of Trinidad and Tobago, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Prayer service will be held on Thursday, June 15 in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Friday, June 16 at 1:00 p.m. also in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel. The family wishes to thank the ICU staff at Concordia Hospital, Grace Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre for their efforts, diligence, care and compassion throughout.
